By My Side is an open-world survival-craft game about raw survival, a home you build with your own hands, and the bond that grows between you and your dog.
🐕 Your Dog, Your Story — Find a stray and raise it from a pup. Each run it’s a different breed with its own look and talent. Teach it tricks, put it to work — guard, hunt, or haul a sled — and it follows your commands, watches your back, and warns you the moment danger closes in.
🏡 Build & Power a Home — From a first campfire to a walled homestead with a glass greenhouse and an upper floor. Place every foundation, wall, stair and roof freely — then bring it to life with your own power-and-water grid: solar, batteries, pumps, heaters, sprinklers, smelters and smart-relay automation that keeps the base running while you’re away.
🔨 Craft Everything — Over 90 recipes across workbench, furnace, campfire and powered machines. Gather raw materials and refine them through real crafting trees — ore into iron into steel, fibre into cloth into cable — into tools, gear and the machines that run your home.
❄️ Survive the Seasons — Stay warm, fed and dry as spring, summer and autumn give way to a winter that wants you dead. Food spoils — salt it, preserve it, stock the larder before the cold. Droughts, animal migrations, wolf packs and aurora-lit nights keep every year unpredictable.
